Bradenton Farmer’s Market
More than a dozen artists participated in the Quickdraw art competition, where they painted scenes of Old Main Street “en plein air,” French for in the open air, a term used to describe outdoor painting. This event is open to every level of painter. It is a fun event that helps promote the Paint the Town paint-‐out. Artists have two hours to complete their works. During this time all registered Quick Draw participants will set up their easels and paint in the hustle and bustle of the Farmer’s Market. Together, artists and spectators are immersed in the creative process.
Saturday April 7th from 9am-‐1pm
Paintings will be on view and sale ‘on easel’ from 1-‐2pm.
